ARMS is a band I randomly befriended on MySpace back in 2004 or 2005 off the strength of some demos that were posted to the account. I chatted up the lone member of the band at the time, Todd Goldstein, and we quickly struck up a friendship through a common love of music. When time came for the band to make a proper website, Todd asked me to design it. Using hand-drawn type and some small illustrations, I created a quirky city in the sky that reflected the band’s quirky NYC indie-infused pop. Today, the site is backed by a CMS that allows the band to update the site wherever they may be on tour.
